Rebecca Goings

Rebecca Goings has always enjoyed writing stories.  As a young child, she wrote stories and poems to stay sane through her parents’ divorce and the lonely years ahead.   Her stories not only became her therapy, but they became her safe-haven as well.  Knowing that becoming an author was her dream, Rebecca entered her stories and poems into contests and won a few awards.

She wrote her first inspirational romance as a junior in high school and shared it with friends, who encouraged her that it was good enough to publish.   But Rebecca decided to have a family first before pursuing her dream.  Her first contract was offered to her in October of 2004 from By Grace Publishing for her novel LEARNING TO LOVE AGAIN, of which she dedicated to her old high school friend, fulfilling a promise she made.

She is now published with Champagne Books, Cobblestone Press and Samhain Publishing, writing mainstream romance.  Rebecca lives in Oregon with her husband, five kids, three cats, and one annoying, stubborn muttley.

    Hi Rebecca,

I reviewed Tomb a few months ago for Romance Junkies. I’ve had huge internet and email problems and not sure if the review made it to you or not. I can’t find your email or I’d paste and send the whole thing for you again.

Here is the link on the Romance Junkies site:

    Hi Rebecca,

I stumbled across your blog when I was googling ‘TFCC injury and recovery.’ I am enjoying reading about the trials and tribulations of your left wrist. I injured my wrist late last year and it’s reassuring to find someone in the same situation.

I look forward to following your progress!

    Best wishes,

    Becka,

i read your journal I guess on your wrist. I just had an arthrogram done yesterday on my right wrist and was searching the web to see if I could make sense of the images they gave me on cd before seeing the doc tomorrow July 15th. I ran across your site and was shocked to read that you saw the big thing of white dye in the same place that I see mine. I hope they fine something. Im in constant swelling just from simple things such as typing and lifting anything, waving or moving my wrist from side to side. Oddly this all came from a car accident in Feb. I’ve been wearing a splint for 10 weeks now and its not really doing a thing. I was off from work for 7 weeks because I work on computers for a living.

I don’t know how anyone can read those things lol. I’ve spent all day in between working looking at other pics of arthrograms of other people’s wrist and it showing tears with arrow’s pointing to them and can’t make heads or tails of how they consider it a tear or a leak. There are places where its solid white and others where there is dark stuff in the white lol. I’ve manage to figure out when im looking at my finger bones and wrist bones and arm bones but that’s about it.

Anyway long winded here, I wanted to wish you luck on your surgery and ask that you keep writing to let me know how things go and I will keep looking on here for ya. Take care!
